Social Investigations

Attorney Mayer provides services as a Social Investigator in cases where it is determined that a Guardian ad Litem just may not provide enough information to the Courts.

The role of a Social Investigator includes not only the study and recommendation of what is in the best interest of the minor children, but a social investigator also studies details pertinent to each parent and the family as a whole and determines what is in the best interest and welfare of the minor children. The resulting study becomes relevant, admissible evidence in any divorce or paternity case where a social investigator was appointed, and include the investigator’s findings of fact and nonbinding (but persuasive) recommendations to the judge in regards to timesharing and parental responsibility.
